Role overview
We are seeking a proactive Supplier Executive to build and manage our network of villas, resorts, transport companies, restaurants, activity providers and guides across Bali and Indonesia.
Good trips depend on good suppliers. You will make sure our sales and operations teams always have accurate rates, reliable partners and clear product notes.
Key responsibilities
1. Supplier sourcing & onboarding
- Source and onboard new suppliers, including contracts and supplier profiles
- Visit new hotels and activities and write clear product notes for the sales team
2. Rates, allotments & systems
- Load and maintain rates, allotments, release periods and policies in our booking system
- Collect new season rates and special offers on time
3. Negotiation & quality
- Negotiate rates and group terms with the contracting manager
- Run supplier site visits and quality checks, and act on guest feedback
4. Compliance & documentation
- Keep supplier contracts, licences and insurance certificates current
- Resolve billing and service issues with operations and finance
Requirements
- 1+ years in contracting, purchasing, reservations or supplier management in travel or hospitality
- Knowledge of the Indonesia hotel and travel supplier market
- Bahasa Indonesia and business English
- Accurate data entry and strong Excel skills
- Organised and persistent in following up
- Living in Indonesia and able to work as an independent contractor (invoicing Explera monthly)
- Your own laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work
Remote contract
This is a remote role for people living in Indonesia. There is no Explera office in Indonesia: you work from home and join the team online.
- Engagement: independent contractor with Explera DMC Limited (Hong Kong), with a monthly fee agreed in writing
- You invoice monthly and handle your own Indonesian tax and BPJS as a self-employed professional
- Working hours: 09:00–18:00 WITA on weekdays, or as agreed at offer
- You use your own laptop and a reliable internet connection; Explera provides the systems and accounts you need
